About BJUI Knowledge and FAQs

BJUI Knowledge is the e-learning platform for urologists and all those with an interest in urology practice, to support their ongoing education and deliver the best patient care.

All aspects of urology are covered in the form of over 400 engaging, interactive e-learning modules accessible any time, on any device.

BJUI Knowledge is edited by a team of clinically active international experts and over 1,000 urologists have contributed as authors and peer reviewers. They have developed an invaluable educational resource for urologists at all stages of their careers, from trainees learning a topic for the first time right through to experienced consultants wanting to refresh and update their knowledge.

The modules explain subjects in clear language, presented in short convenient sections, and include recommended practice for diagnosis, medical/surgical procedures and follow-up care, the latest science and controversies. All content is evidence-based, fully referenced and peer reviewed, with regular updates as practice changes and develops.

Users can test their knowledge as they learn, with multiple choice questions throughout, culminating in an assessment with high quality single best answer questions. For each core module completed, users are awarded a certificate to include in their professional development portfolio. All activity can be accessed at any time on the BJUI Knowledge platform.

As well as the core modules, there are Quick Checks to look up a vital piece of information on the fly, Short Courses for linked content, Videos to see a procedure in action and Podcasts to hear a topic discussed in greater depth.

All content is accredited by Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and approved by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
